Terms and Conditions of Use - CARYNA

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the virtual assistant CARYNA, developed and operated by Rugnis International SRL, headquartered at 87 Main Street, Cucova, Bacău, Romania, registered with the Trade Register under no. J4/1326/2018, VAT number 39831579. By accessing and using CARYNA, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the CARYNA service (integrated chat on the website or in third-party applications), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of the Service

CARYNA is a conversational virtual assistant that provides information, general support, and automated interactions based on text inputs provided by the user. It can automatically answer questions, generate content, and interact with third-party platforms (e.g. Facebook).

3. Limitations of Functionality

CARYNA:

  • I do not provide professional advice (medical, legal, financial);

  • It may generate incorrect or incomplete responses, as it uses artificial intelligence

  • It should not be used as the sole source of decision-making in critical activities.

The user takes full responsibility for using the information provided by the assistant.

4. Intellectual Property

All content generated by CARYNA and all its components (design, code, interface, functionality logic) are the exclusive property of Rugnis International SRL and are protected by national and international legislation on copyright and intellectual property.

5. Privacy and Personal Data

CARYNA does not directly collect personal data, except for those voluntarily provided by the user in conversation. Conversations may be temporarily stored in the browser (localStorage) for continuity of dialogue. Data is not stored or processed on the server except for the purpose of generating responses.

6. Unacceptable Use

The use of CARYNA is prohibited for the following purposes:

  • distribution of offensive, illegal, abusive content

  • violation of the rights of others

  • Unauthorized system security testing

  • automations like spam or abuse of integrated APIs.

7. Service Modifications

Rugnis International SRL It reserves the right to modify, suspend, or interrupt the CARYNA service at any time, without prior notice, in whole or in part.

8. Limitation of Liability

The supplier is not responsible for:

  • possible data losses caused by external factors

  • decisions made by users based on generated responses

  • temporary unavailability of the service

The service is provided "as is," without any express or implied warranties.

9. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by the current legislation in Romania. Any disputes will be settled by the competent courts within the jurisdiction of the supplier's headquarters.
